Hi, I’m Chris and this is where I write. I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know what I’m doing.
I started I Don’t Have The Map as a way for my family and friends to follow my journey across Europe. I was too lazy to send emails to all of them and this was supposed to be easier. I’m not always convinced. I continue to travel, I continue to write, and this little project still has some life left in it.
To some degree I think I have always been an explorer. In the beginning I did most of my travelling by book, then I moved by bus and by train. Now I travel by foot, sometimes after a long-haul flight, sometimes straight out the front door. After several years of not really looking, I found walking is my thing.
What happens here is often an account of what is going on in my head while I place one foot in front of the other. It might not be for everyone but that’s ok, it’s mostly for me. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.Â
Beautiful blog. Think we have quite similar mindset toward travels. Followed!
Thanks! I have just stopped by your own blog, I’m going to enjoy catching up on your travels.
Hey Chris, Just come by your blog – interesting and a great read…..I can hear your voice in my mind as I read.
Hope you had a great time in NZ and the rest of the trip went well. Hopefully I’ll stumble across you (and the rest of the clan) again in the future.
Thanks for stopping by Jason, sorry I missed your comment for so long!
Won’t be long before I’m up to the Abel Tasman and you become a feature!
Hope to see you again soon.
You have really great posts! I actually started my (first) blog for the same reasons – back in the days when people wrote long, exhausting e-mails it was just too much work to re-write the same story to five people. I’m glad you’ve shared your adventures though))
Thanks very much!
I think I am a little jealous of your traveling. đ Maybe I will do a little through you. đ
I’m more than happy to share! Thanks for stopping by.
Its fun
