On the 20th of April I will be walking away from reality, bag on my back and into Europe alongside David “Dave” Bowman. For the last six months, we have spent hours discussing the getaway plan and we are finally ready to make our escape.

I said I’d recommend some bars I’ve come across on my travels for you, here’s a few for you:
Prague – Cross Club. It’s a bit out of the way in Praha 7 but it’s cool. Kind of, weird industrial and seating right up to the ceiling. Music is eclectic – last time I was there it was a live dub act. Really popular place, friendly people.
Stockholm – 2.35:1. This is a nightclub that’s part of the Berns hotel which also acts as a venue for live music. From what I can remember, there were a few different floors playing different music, loads of DJ’s, and it’s one huge party.
Amsterdam – L and B Whiskey Café. Fuckloads of it. Also a nice little place that serves great bitterballen.
I’ve been some great places in Poland and Copenhagen but can’t for the life of me remember what they were called. I hope those suggestions will do!
